Perform_Augment_Remix

A series of works showcasing artistic research developed by Peter Nelson, Roberto Alonso Trillo, and Sudhee Liao over the past two years through several projects related to Machine Vision’s exhibition core theme. These self-contained acts explore the application of AI-related tools to specific artistic mediums via different transmodal mapping and hardware solutions such as motion tracking and laser projections. They exemplify different approaches to the augmentation of traditional disciplinary performance paradigms, positing practical instances of the interconnection between hardware and software as potential paths for post-disciplinary artistic creation.
